Web sites come in two basic forms, either static or dynamic. A static site is fixed and is designed to present information about your company in an attractive and informative manner but can only be changed by the web site developer. A dynamic site is generated as the viewer navigates through the pages as all of the content is held in a database and is only displayed when it is requested. Ecommerce sites are built this way and so are sites built using a Content Management System. BellComp Web Systems uses Open Source ecommerce and content management systems such as Oscommerce and Mambo. In each of these cases a back-end administration system is used to manage the content of the site. We can provide training in the use of these sites if that is required.
